We hope ya ll aren t sleeping on Puma these days. Well just in case you haven t been paying that much attention to them due to the plethora of Nike and Jordan Brand releases we ve been getting, here s a friendly reminder that they are still releasing HEAT!Suited perfectly for the colder weather, Puma has given us a real treat with the Puma States Winter Gum pack which features three different colorways of the classic silhouette. The elegant sneaker comes in a new winterized edition that boasts a full gum outsole. The collection includes a lipstick red , black and olive colorway in full premium suede uppers and almond accents. With all the collaborations we ve seen, it was about time that we saw something from Puma. Partnering up with Tokyo sneaker shop Kicks Lab, the duo hits up the Puma First Round Lo in two different styles. Paying homage to the Nishihn district in Kyoto, the Kicks Lab x Puma First Round Lo  Nishijin shows off clean, Black suede bases that work a floral print along the Puma branding.It could be assumed that the floral prints used give a slight nod to the detailed, traditional kimonos that come out of Nishihn. The print pops up in either a Black/White color scheme or in brown hues, which nicely contrasts the dark upper. Last we saw from the Puma States were some pretty, soft, pastel colorways but now its out with those sissy colors and into something that was designed for winter. The Puma States Winter Gum Pack offers three new colorways of the Puma States, composed of premium suede materials that will take you through the Winter season.ThePuma States Winter Gum Pack includes not only a bright Pink-almost Red rendition, as well as some more neutral renditions set in Black and Grey.  Chief Executive Officer of Puma, Bjoern Gulden is seeking to inject some new spark into Puma where profit this year is expected to be about a third of what it was a decade ago. PUMA continues its ongoing collaboration with creative Sophia Chang for the Fall/Winter 2014 season. Up next for the PUMA x Sophia Chang are renditions of the Basket Classic and Basket Mid sneaker silhouettes, available in both men s and women s sizes, along with a third women s model in the form of the Trinomic Disc. The shoes are made of premium leather materials and features Changs NYC inspired graphics on the interior of the shoes. This collection also includes apparel such as graphic tees, jackets and crew necks to compliment the shoes. The PUMA x Sophia Chang Fall/Winter 2014 collection is set to launch this Friday (September 19th) through select retailers, including KITH, RIME, Revolve and PUMA s online store.

Back in 1990 s Puma released the Blaze of Glory shoe that served as not only a great runner but also a stylish everyday wear sneaker. Now with a the popularity of runners at an all-time high, brands are taking advantage of the demand-wave and resurrecting many of their retro runners from back in the day. Puma has seen lots of success with this strategy which is why they are giving us this Blaze of Glory Tech Pack. Both shoes from the pack contain the usual Trinomic cushioning that we are accustomed to, but instead of using the traditional mesh build they opt out for a combination of smooth and perforated leather. The retro runners also feature a nylon interior for added comfort and a loop heel tab for easy putting on and taking off.
