As part of the Gore-Tex collection, it features a design ready for the rugged outdoors. The New Balance 420, originally created as a long distance runner, has made its way back to accounts. Here we see two new versions of the shoe, both of which are constructed from suede and nylon. The first boasts a predominantly royal blue colorway that is contrasted with red and white, while the second features a red design with grey and white contrasts. Highlighting the design are the die cut stars along the toe box, which are done in 3M. As you can see from some of the images, the shoe looks really nice while glowing in the dark. The Made in USA colorways have a similar materials make up however the color schemes themselves are grey suede with navy trim or navy suede with red trim. They aren t set to release until the Fall so stay tuned and look out for them at your local New Balance retailer.

We recently previewed the New Balance 574 Johnny Appleseed , and today we re getting a look at a pair inspired by another American tall tale, this time of John Henry. This time around, the New Balance 574 sports a combination of dark grey suede, black mesh nylon, and 3M branding. The heel features a USA branding, while the inner sole reads American Tall Tales .
