Converse joins in on the Chinese New Year fun with two different colorways of the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star 2.Celebrating the Year of The Rooster, first up we have a high top version of the Chuck 2 which features a dark blue/black rooster feather graphic all over the upper that is accompanied by red aglets and a white rubber midsole. Then we have a low top version which comes in a similar feather graphic upper but in shades of blue with pops of red for a nice contrast.Which pair do you like better, the high or the low? The Converse Year Of The Rooster Pack will feature the Converse Thunderbolt sneaker. Converse opts to give the shoe a predominantly Black upper accented nicely by the shaded of Grey placed throughout. The Grey hits are said to represent the feathers of a rooster. Additional features on the shoe include the custom insoles displaying the same rooster feather design and the Red lace tips. The apparel from the collection consists of a coach jacket, sweater and t-shirt done in black colorways with detailing such as embroidered roosters to go along with the theme of the pack. One of the releases that dropped over the weekend was the Stussy x Converse One Star  74 collab you see above. The pack, centered around the One Star 74 Ox consisted of three different colorways to choose from. Today we get a better look at all three pairs.The Stussy x Converse One Star  74 comes in your choice of Mauve Mist/Black, Hunter Green/Black/Gold or Caviar/Black. Each pair/colorway is constructed out of a tonal hairy suede upper accompanied with luxe features such as the leather lining and nubuck tongue. Additional nubuck is placed on the Converse star branding on the paneling also done in the same tonal fashion. Other features include the microperforations, the flat cotton laces, high rubber foxing, dual branded tongue, and the vintage license plate heel branding.

To celebrate 100 years of success, Converse decided to release special-edition colorways of the shoe coming in Black, Navy, White, Red, a patriotic Stars and Stripes version and a baseball-inspired version as well. Keeping things original as possible, the construction of the shoe appears to remain untouched. This means that the upper still comes in a stitched canvas build, a toe cap made of white rubber, and an outso done in brown rubber.
