As if it wasn't distinguishable enough as it, Converse wen ahead and created a version covered in the iconic Converse patch.Converse Chuck Modern East vs. West: Continuing with the minimal/subtle aesthetic theme, I'm really impressed/intrigued by the Converse Chuck Modern. Although this non-lux version comes in a mesh upper, it's still a nice subtle look on the shoe. The tonal star motif on the upper is also a nice touch to the NBA All-Star theme. I dig it.

Meanwhile, Nike, adidas, Converse and even AND1 can all lay claim to having one of their athletes hold up their trophy. They are at it again, Concepts brings to life a Converse Weapon with a nod to the St. Patrick's Holiday. It's a sneaker Larry Bird wore, by a Boston-based sneaker company, designed by a Boston-based boutique, themed in likeness to a traditionally Irish holiday and being released exclusively in at Concepts Cambridge- could it be more Boston?The Concepts x Converse Weapon releases on Saturday March 14th, 10am in-store at Concepts Cambridge only (not NYC), followed by an online release at 12pm eastern.Here are some pictures of the highly anticipated collaboration between Converse and Fragment Design. The Chuck Taylor Lo model is used, and shown in an all red colorway. The red toe cap matches the upper, and the white midsole is always a great way to go. The also feature the Fragment logo embroidered on the side panel.
To commemorate its 100th Anniversary, Converse will be releasing 100 items from 2007 December to 2008 March. Still a popular company among many original sneakerheads as Converse was once what Nike Dunks and Air Jordans are today. Some of these sneakers will be new designs and some will resemble past Converse sneakers which were once the talk of the town. The first December release including different retro models from 1922 to 1999. You can keep an eye our for few pairs of All Star Hi in the December release including a classic Camouflage model which firstly launched in 1983, and also the MA-Nylon in 1999.
